For the altered images I decided to use two marvel heroes who are both captains and tried to make one of them say to the other “I am the captain now”. Besides that, I altered the pictures by changing the color and changing the drop shadow on one of them. For the color mode for all the pictures I RGB and for the sizing I did all the same. I think I could of done a different superhero duo but I thought that would be more funny.
Orignal Composition
For this assignment I went on thinking that I should do like a fight scene between metors and all kinds of super heroes. So, I first was thinking that all the pictures should be fun and like happy so I went on google and searched all my favorite heroes in cartoon form and made them look like they were flying/fighting towards the metors For the color pictures I used like all red, blue, and black suits. For the design I used the right arm like the superman one.
Non Destructive Selections ans Masking
I was thinking about doing something in basketball so I decided to make it about my favorite team the Oklahoma City Thunder. Some of the steps that I took was to first decide what players and which logo I had to use. Then I decided to use three-layer masks to make the heads look like it was coming through the court that I used. Then I decided to use the logo of the team in the middle so I also used the mask to make it look a bit blurry and make it just the logo not the lines coming out of it. For the final steps I typed the abbreviation of the team with a good kind of graphic to make it look cool. After, I did the text I have finished the final piece. Some of the tools I have used were the brush, selection tool, and final the text tool to make it with the graphic. I think I did make use of the negative space because I used basically all the space. For the color mode, dimensions and resolution I think I have used ( RGB,150 ppi, and 12 x 12 )
Retouched Images
For one of my photos I thought it would be cool if made one of my very good friends at prom with his balloon date in outer space. While the other two I thought I would fill in the blanks in one while the other I made a new border around it and make it look cool. For every Picture I did the same steps I selected what I wanted and I made masks If I needed them and then I just filled them in. I did the same color mode and dimensions for all the same pictures. I guess for the principles I wanted to make the, colorful and hopeful.
Poster Design
For my First my final project I decided to do it on the Red Speedo play that is coming up on October 10th. To get my final piece what I did is I emailed my visual design teacher who is direction and making the stage for the play and asked what kind of props then I made the poster. First, I got images of all of them props I wanted to use and then I put them all in the photoshop and chose a background image. Next I put the name. date, and the directors of the play, while I did that, I made the names and the title look like water by making a new layer mask over the type making it like that. Then finally I put all the pictures of the props in the space background making a bit of the story. For the color mode, dimensions, and resolution I made them the required stats.
Pencil
For the pencils I made one original one then I made the other ones my own design. The middle one is white and blue in honor of one of my favorite colors. Then the green up on the eraser part is in honor of the movie the blob a classic movie. Then the third pencil I almost made it like the first but then I saw these cool colors and I decide to do a green and white design one.
Elephant
The elephant one is one of my favorite ones because it’s a really cute animal. I like the pink and black that I used because it looks like a very cute pet. The red and blue for the flowers I made look the blue daisy’s in the Madagascar movies. I used the line tool and the wrap around tool to make sure all the same shapes are the same color. The colors are in no specific order I just chose them because I really like pink.
Grid
For my pictures inside the box’s I made most of them creativity while other ones I had them in my mind already so I just made them to my memory. I made the box’s to scale so they are perfectly the same size but with the objects they are all different shapes and sizes. The colors in the shapes are in no right order.
Pear
For the pear all I really did was follow the lines and connected them. Then I watched as the teacher made the lines go and connected them and made go in the opposite direction and they went in an angle. The colors I picked were red and black because I thought it would look cool and they are 2 of 3 of my favorite colors. I put them together in the pair because no one will eat a red pear cause they would think it would be rotten.
Infographic
For the second final project I decided to go on the root of how many people used certain apps. For the apps I decided Snapchat, Twitter, ESPN, Instagram, and Venmo. For the actual layout of my infographic I have 17 layers. Each object and each piece of text has its own layer. I decided to go with the colors I liked and thought would go well with the layout. All the stats for the people who use the apps comes from theses websites. For the text I decided go with the one that I thought looked the best.
Indesign Poster Design
For the Poster project I made the background color red and light blue because I was actually thinking about one of my favorite basketball team called the OKC. There jersey colors were blue and red at one point. For the words I picked random type styles and different colors to be creative. The design of each object was introduced from a folder on the compute. Maybe I should have used one color for each type but I decided against it.
Indesign Publication Design
For this project I wanted to make the copy all the text and place it in the correct place as if it was the original one. Then I decided to make the pictures almost in the same place but I made them a little separate and they are the same width. Then I also put one turtle on the bottom to make it look cool
Extra Credit
For this logo extra credit, I decided to use a domino’s pizza, sketch, Heresy’s, and adidas logos. So first I put all of them in illustrator, then I put them into their own layers and then grabbed the pen tool and then traced the outside of them and changed their color to ones that I liked. Then after that I shaped them up and made it look really similar. Then I saved them and exported them.
Final Portfolio Cover Design
For my Final Logo design I had to sit down and think about what I like and what represents me. So I decided to make a list of all the things I liked and I decided to make the OKC logo which is my favorite team in the NBA. So I made the bolt with the colors of the team in it.
