Hi, my name is Adam Margolis and I am from Stamford CT. I am a currently a sophomore at Quinnipiac University. I am a 20-year-old communications major. I am interested in film, television, and media. I am very interested in to basketball, karate, TV and movies. My favorite movie I have to say is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because there are some very nice shots in that movie. Also, because in my opinion there is a bunch more action in that one rather than in the other films. My favorite TV show has to be Psych because the acting in that show is very amazing and all the actors and actresses are really funny. My main focus when I graduate college is to move into sports movies and motivate people to follow their dreams and make them very successful. If that doesn’t work out then I would really like to work behind the camera on a popular TV show that people watch to this day. I am taking this class because I want to learn more about the camera and to make some decent films for my portfolio. What I am hoping to take away from this class is how to edit more of my videos and to take better shots when I shoot some for the assignments. I am hoping to grow as a person and as a film maker in this class this semester. I am also looking forward to doing a bunch of group work because I think it good to share the workload and give people responsibility. Also, in group work I feel like there is always one person who really just sits back and has the other people do the work for them, in this class I do not feel like that will happen. ] Even though I am not in any productions activates on campus I still have a bunch of ideas in the iron at home.
